Who I Am

Hi,I’m known as The Suffolk Mole Catcher and I am a Mole Catching expert.
I was trained in the art of trapping from a young age, when my grandfather taught me the secrets, over time I have improved my technique and have even trained with some of the top mole catchers in the country. I now offer an efficient and effective service.
I have only ever used traps, never poisons or toxic gasses, making my service an environmentally friendly and a humane method of control.
I cover the whole of Suffolk and even into the Essex area of Colchester.

FAQ

How do I stop other Moles from returning once they have been trapped ?

This will depend on the food source in the area where the moles have been trapped. For problem areas we would recommend a monthly Mole Control Contract.

I have pets, are the traps safe ?

This will depend on the pets at hand, Dogs and Cats can dig up the traps, It is always recommended to keep pets away from areas where the traps are laid, This will also help speed up the trapping process. A Risk assessment is always carried out prior to any traps being laid.

 

Can you live catch and relocate the mole ?

As Humane as this sounds it is anything but ! The mole has to eat its body weight a day in worms. Trapping him alive would cause stress that would kill the mole. Relocation would also cause a similar problem as the mole would have little time the re dig a new tunnel system.

My garden is filled with mole hills, How many moles do I have ?

This is a question we get asked alot and is always difficult to answer over the phone. Once we have carried out a survey an indication will be given to the amount.

Are the traps you use humane ?

In short, Very! Our traps have very powerful springs and the mole is dispatched in an instant.
